Welcome to Project 55

Project55 (UK) delivers preventative, confidence-building, and restorative programmes that create genuine, lasting change. We work directly within communities to make support accessible to those who need it most, while also offering virtual services to individuals and organisations across the UK.

Our approach is practical, inclusive, and results-driven through our interconnected services.

We support:

  • Young people and adults

  • Victims and survivors

  • Those who have caused, or are at risk of causing, harm

We provide safe, non-judgmental spaces to:

  • Share experiences

  • Address challenges

  • Build confidence and resilience

From our Let’s Talk drop-ins to our structured Violet and Roots to Reset programmes, we have created a pathway to inform, empower, and rebuild lives.

Our Vision:

To empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to make informed, healthy choices and create lasting, positive change in their lives and community.

The “Not Yet” Philosophy

Our programmes are guided by the “Not Yet” approach, inspired by Carol Dweck’s growth mindset research. Instead of viewing setbacks as failures, we see them as part of the learning journey, where skills, understanding, and positive change may not have emerged yet — but with the right support, effort, and encouragement, they can develop over time. This approach helps individuals to develop perseverance, resilience, confidence, healthier behaviour and choices.

There is no quick fix. However, we have adopted a holistic, partnership-led approach aligned with leading local and national initiatives to foster lasting change, strengthen social cohesion, create safer streets, and develop more resilient communities. How? By addressing the root causes of physical and online harm—such as antisocial and criminal behaviour, including grooming, domestic abuse, exploitation, and organised crime. Changing behaviour is challenging but achievable. The physical and mental well-being of vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals—due to circumstances, educational needs, or life situations—remains central to our work. Our operational model ensures support is accessible to those who are vulnerable and those who cause harm.
